At Rover's Do Over, donations are vital to our ability to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome animals in need. No amount is too small, and every act of giving goes directly toward animals in our care and brings us one step closer to our vision of a world where all animals are treated with compassion and respect. Your donation, big or small, helps provide our intake animals with food, medical care, and other essentials. Plus, because we are a registered non-profit and NYS charity, your donation is tax deductible!
Why Choose Rover's Do Over for Your Animal Welfare Contributions?
At Rover's Do Over, we are dedicated to making a significant impact in the lives of dogs in need. Since January 1st, 2024, we have:
- Rescued 160 dogs from various situations, providing them with the care and love they deserve.
- Found forever homes for 127 dogs, ensuring they are placed in loving families.
- Treated over 30 medical cases and/or special needs dogs, giving them a second chance at a healthy and happy life.
We are proud to be a 100% volunteer-based organization. This means:
- No paid employees – every dollar you donate goes directly to the care of the dogs.
- No grant funding or investors – our success is entirely thanks to the generosity of our community.
Aside from supplies, our biggest and main expense is veterinary care, which includes:
- Spay/neuter surgeries
- Vaccinations
- Preventative treatments
- Various tests and procedures
Every dollar helps. Here are some examples of what your contributions provide: vaccinations, flea/tick prevention, spay/neuter surgeries helping to control the pet population, dog food & treats, pet care supplies, toys/enrichment, diagnostic testing & procedures, medications and so much more!
